Water-Proof Tile Grouting Compound.

This unique Tile Grouting Compound was developed initially for application in Infinity or Regular Pools, where the surface is overlayed with tiles.

This type of tile overlay in swimming pools, requires a tile grouting which :

(i)   is able to withstand huge amounts of water pressure as well as negative hydrostatic pressure,.

(ii) and is 100% water-proof.

Our Tiling Grout Compounds, are a blend of cement, very fine-graded aggregates, special polymers, additives and pigments. The use of special additives gives grouting mortars highly water-repellent properties. It is a product with very low emission of volatile organic compunds. 

The following features are obtained when mixed with the right water ratio and used correctly:

▪ water-repellent; 

▪ good compressive and flexural strength, good resistance to freeze/thaw cycles, and therefore good durability; 

▪ a smooth final surface with low water absorption, therefore easy to clean; 

▪ very good abrasion resistance; 

▪ low shrinkage, therefore absence of cracks and ssures; 

▪ good resistance to acids with pH >3; 

▪ excellent value for performance.

So eventually our product has now not only been used in swimming pools, but also for any type of tiling project. Whether it be a shower, a tiled balcony or whatever your tiling requirements may be, we have the perfect solution for you.

Types of applications :

▪ Grouting floor and wall ceramic tiles in interiors. 

▪ Grouting swimming pools. 

▪ Grouting particularly smooth and glossy floor surfaces (smooth and polished porcelain, pre-smoothened and polished marble, glazed tiles). 

▪ Grouting ceramic tile industrial flooring where resistance to chemical agents is not required (garages, warehouses, etc.).

The product is supplied as a kit of :

• 40 kg of the actual Tile Grouting Compound & 20 lt's of the Latex Fibre-Enriched Emulsion, for grouting in joints up to 20mm thick and deep.

The abovementioned grouting kit is available in various colours ranging from white, blue to a dark Charcoal and other specialized colours to match most tile colours/variants available.

• For any projects requiring a more detailed finish, and available in 20 different colours , a 40 kg kit to be mixed with only potable water, can be supplied. This grouting compound is limited to grouting joints of up to 6mm only.

Immediate cleaning of the surrounding tile surface is paramount as the product dries quickly, to ensure faster continuous finishing of your project.
