Asbestos Primer (Styrene Acrylic) is a 26.5%, water based Styrene Copolymer Emulsion

PRODUCT FEATURES

• Asbestos primer is a clear drying (milky when wet) solution formulated to penetrate, bind, seal and consolidate the surface of

new or old, friable asbestos, encapsulating harmful dust and fibres. It also improves the moisture resilience of the surface.

• Suitable as both an interior and exterior asbestos sealer - to encapsulate all asbestos fibres.

• Milky Tacky Liquid

• Suitable for asbestos

• Excellent adhesion

• Easy no-mess application properties

• Quick drying - 2coats can be applied in one day

PRODUCT DATA

Physical Form: Milky White Emulsion

Colour: Clear when dry (tough, tacky)

Practical: ± 5m² per liter depending on surface porosity and application method

Properties: Touch dry in 30-60min. Overcoating in 2hours, depending on ambient temperature and

humidity

Flashpoint: Waterborne

Thinning: Not recommended

Cleaning: Water. Do not allow paint to dry on the equipment

APPLICATION DETAILS

• Mixing: Always stir well with a flat paddle before use

• Application Method: Brush or Roller or Airless Spray Gun

• Thinning: This product is ready for use undiluted. Thinning will reduce its binding power.

• Cleaning: Clean equipment with water.

second coat application.
