What is Tuff Coat?
Tuff Coat is an attractive, easy to use, non-skid coating that provides excellent traction on pool decks, splash pads, locker rooms, commercial/industrial applications, and much more.
Apply Tuff Coat to concrete, fiberglass, wood, aluminum, and steel for a long-lasting, non-skid surface. Tuff Coat can be rolled or sprayed; no expensive equipment or complex tools are required to apply the product.
Technical Details -
Tuff Coat UT-200 series is a single component, flexible, water-based non-skid coating created through a unique process of cross-linking urethanes, acrylics, co-polymers and recycled rubber granules to create a long-lasting non-slip finish.
This product is designed to provide an attractive, highly durable, impact-resistant, non-slip surface for splash pads, wave pools, spray parks, restroom floors, deck surfaces and other areas requiring slip resistance that can be used in or out of water.
Tuff Coat’s flexible matte finish dries to 30-35 mils of thickness creating a finish that hides significant imperfections on all surfaces as well as improves existing non-skid finishes to provide additional safety. This product is low odor and should be applied with a Tuff Coat roller or low-pressure hopper spray gun.
Use with an Adhesion Primer for all surfaces.
Adhesion Primer - Concrete, Wood, Fibreglass and Painted Surfaces :
This two-component water-based epoxy primer/sealer can be used on concrete, wood, fiberglass and painted surfaces for heavy use and moisture areas. Tuff Coat UT-80 can be applied to damp concrete surfaces. This primer is compatible with all Tuff Coat rubberized non-skid coatings.
Metal Primer :
Tuff Coat UT-95 Metal Primer is a fast drying, single- component, water-based, corrosion inhibiting primer that's designed for use on interior and exterior metal applications that is compatible with Tuff Coat rubberized non-skid coatings. The product chemically etches for a tighter bond on clean, bare steel or aluminum surfaces.
