Our Pool Epoxy Coating System is a two-component Polyamide Epoxy, with a very high solid content, designed for use in concrete, marbelite, gunnite and fibreglass / fibre-lined swimming pools.
The system will smooth and fill the rough surfaces of concrete, that makes cleaning easy. It also protects all substrate surfaces that can deteriorate from exposure to weather, water and chemicals.
Solvent based Coating System including the use of a Polymer Primer Coating, as the 1st coat in the application process.
10 Year warranty against delamination, flaking and bubbling( T's and C's Apply) with a 15 year lifetime expectancy.
Non-Toxic for fish in Koi Ponds. dams when fully cured. Can also be used in farm dams, as a waterproofing compound rendering water safe for drinking when cured - includes a anti-microbial agent which slows the forming of bacteria and algae and is more easy to keep clean.
4 : 1 Mixing Ratio of Product Base to Hardener.
Primer has spreading rate of 25 sqm on a 5 kg pail ( one coat required at 125 microns dft )
Pool Epoxy Coating has a spreading rate of 12 sqm on a 5 kg pail at 350 microns dft ( or two coats at 175 microns for walls ) to prevent running.
8 Standard colors are available and a selection of 200 non-standard RAL colors for a different color that will stand out.
Both the Primer and the Epoxy Top Coat is available in the following volumes :
5lt Kit - 4 kg Base Product & 1 kg Hardener
25lt Kit - 20 kg Base Product & 5 kg Hardener
