HEAVY DUTY FLOORING SYSTEM INDUSTRIAL & NANO ANTI BACTERIAL

A Primer-Based two component isocyanate cured system to be used in both industrial and decorative industries. 

Provides excellent weather and chemical resistance.

• Commercial & Industrial Floors - For use in Hospitals, Clinics, Kitchens, School and for Agricultural areas, hangars , Warehouses with extreme traffic.

Technical Specifications

• Physical Form: Flammable liquid containing pigments with exceptional rust resistance.
• Colour: Clear & oxide colours
• Finish: Smooth gloss finish
• Practical: 3m² per liter depending on surface porosity and application method ( resulting in two coatings ) 15 sqm per 5lt pail at 350 microns dft - two coatings combined.
• Properties: Touch dry in 15minutes. Over-coating in 4 hours depending on ambient temperature, vapour pressure and humidity
• Flashpoint: Highly Flammable
• Thinning: Not recommended as it reduces the quality of the resin. But if required to reduce viscosity add a maximum (20%) quantity of Xylene
• Cleaning: Do not allow the product to dry on equipment. Equipment is readily cleaned using Xylene or alternatively brush cleaner.
• DFT: 175μ per coat. 350μ recommended

• Storage: Store at ambient temperature in sealed containers and away from direct sunlight
   

APPLICATION DETAILS
• Mixing: Always stir well with a flat paddle or mechanical spindle before use
• Application Method: Brush or Roller or compressor spray gun
• Thinning: Not recommended, this product is ready for use, but can be thinned with Xylene for spray
purposes
• Cleaning: Clean equipment with Paint Stripper or thinners.
• Application: For Brush or Roller Application:
Rollers / Brush :
• Apply 1 coat of FS.408 to achieve proper penetration with 4hours drying time between
coats to achieve proper penetration. And an additional 6 hours in cold wet weather
• Porous surfaces may require a 2nd coat to ensure surface is properly coated and to avoid
colour patches

For Compressor Spray Gun
• If needed, thin the paint with Xylene
• Apply 1 coat of FS.408 to achieve proper penetration with 4hours drying time between
coats to achieve proper penetration. And an additional 6 hours in cold wet weather
• Porous surfaces may require a 2nd coat to ensure surface is properly coated and to avoid
colour patches
 

SURFACE PREPARATION
Natural stone, concrete cement, plaster and raw wood
• Remove dust, foreign material, grease and oil with Dynamite Degreaser
• Scrub with a hard broom or wire brush and wash off thoroughly with water
• Previously coated floor, or old unpainted surfaces need to be sanded to remove 1mm off the
top layer
• Ensure that the surface is sound and dry before painting
• If the surface is still dusty, apply a primer layer by thinning the epoxy mixture with 10% Xylene
• Apply 2nd coat of Epoxy FS.408 and let dry for 4 hours

HEALTH & SAFETY
This product contains a highly flammable solvent. Precautions must be taken to prevent naked flames coming in contact with vapour (i.e. smoking must be prohibited)
Solvents may also cause narcotic effects if the vapour concentration is too high.
Always ensure adequate ventilation (do not use solvent based products in a poor ventilated or enclosed areas).
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, mouth etc. Wear protective clothing, goggles and gloves. If bodily contact is made, wash the product off with thinners immediately. Do not allow to dry on skin. Rinse skin with clean water continuously afterwards to avoid irritation.
